We design and build the moulds in our own plant in Settimo Milanese, just outside Milan.

Moulding is our main business, and precision parts, including very small ones, are our speciality. Everything around it we do in house, so the part does not pass from hand to hand.

From design to finished product
Drawing
We start from the drawing of the part and study its critical points.
Mould
We design and build the mould in our own plant, for maximum precision and maximum output.
Sampling
We test the mould on the press and fine-tune it on the samples.
Moulding
From small batches to large runs, on 18 presses from 50 to 160 tonnes.
Finishing
Post-processing, bonding, welding and assembly, where required.

It starts with moulds
The family company is founded: design and manufacture of moulds, from the drawing and the prototype.

Moulding arrives
Alongside the moulds, the plastic injection moulding department is set up.

M.T.M. S.r.l. is founded
On 12 December 1986 M.T.M. S.r.l. is founded: turning, milling and grinding of precision parts. The attention to detail we bring to moulding today comes from here.

The second generation
The second generation of the family joins the company.

Moulds and moulding in M.T.M.
The moulding shop and the precision toolroom of the family company join M.T.M.: the two lines of experience come together and the second generation takes over.
